Prices vary based on how many channels you want, but most internet TV services cost between $20-$50. This means they're just a fraction of the cost of a cable subscription.
Most major internet TV providers provide access to Fox News. In addition, you can use your internet TV login to watch Fox News online, or on the Fox News Go app.

fuboTV
fuboTV started as a sports-centered streaming service, for fans of association football (soccer), rugby, and other international sports. Today, however, it has expanded its channel list beyond its initial focus on sports.
Plans and channels
There is only one subscription plan for fuboTV. fubo Premier will cost you $45/month – the price recently jumped from $40/month.
Your subscription to fuboTV will get you Fox News, as well as CNBC, CNBC World, and Fox Business. That's about it on the news front. Other than these channels, most of the content is focused on sports, with more than two dozen sports-focused channels.
You can add-on even more sports channels with additional packages such as the Sports Plus package ($9/month), but there are no options for adding more news coverage.
Features
Along with your fuboTV subscription, you get a free cloud-based DVR. However, it is a bit limited. You can only record 30 hours of content, which is low compared to other DVRs. If you want, you can boost this to 500 hours of content for a $10/month fee.
You also only get 2-device simultaneous streaming, which ties fuboTV with DirecTV Now and Hulu With Live TV.
fuboTV is available on the Amazon App Store, and you can watch it on all compatible Amazon Fire TV models. Other devices supported include iOS and Android mobile devices, and platforms such as the Apple TV and Roku.

Hulu With Live TV
While it's still technically in beta, Hulu With Live TV offers good features and a solid list of channels. This has made it a top choice for many cord-cutters.

Like fuboTV, Hulu With Live TV provides you with only one subscription plan, which costs $40/month. It includes between 40-70+ channels, depending on your geographic location. You'll get Fox News, as well as CNN, CNBC and MSNBC, HLN, and Telemundo in your subscription.
Hulu With Live TV offers a good lineup for most cable news fans, and augments it with good sports and entertainment packages.
One of the biggest benefits of your Hulu With Live TV membership is that it includes a Hulu base-tier membership (an $8/month value) with your $40/month subscription. This means you can watch the entire library of Hulu content on-demand with no restrictions. Everything is included, from past Fox News programming to Hulu Originals such as The Handmaid's Tale.
Features
You get a free, 50-hour DVR with your Hulu With Live TV subscription. If you need more recording time, you can shell out $15/month to get 200 hours of storage with the "Enhanced DVR" add-on.
By default, you are limited to 2 simultaneous live streams, tying Hulu With Live TV with fuboTV and DirecTV Now. Unlike those other services, though, you can pay $15/month for an "Unlimited Screens" add-on. This will get you unlimited simultaneous streams in your home network, and up to 3 streams outside your home network.
You have the option to combine both the Enhanced DVR and Unlimited Screens package for $20/month, which is a good discount.
Hulu With Live TV is available on the Amazon App Store, and can also be streamed on your web browser. Mobile compatibility includes iOS and Android, and you can also stream using devices like Chromecast and Apple TV.

DirecTV Now
DirecTV Now has the best selection of channels out of any internet TV service. Given that it is run by DirecTV, this is not exactly a surprise.

If you are a true cable news junkie, DirecTV Now definitely has the best channel list for your needs. You'll get Fox News in the lowest-cost "Live A Little" package, along with Fox Business, Bloomberg Television, HLN, CNN, CNBC, C-Span 1 and 2, and MSNBC.
If you choose to upgrade to the "Just Right" package, though, you'll get even more news channels like CNBC World, and channels such as ESPNews and The Weather Channel. Upgrading to the "Go Big" channel will get you access to BBC World News, but that's just about it on the news front.
Features
DirecTV Now doesn't have the best features of any internet streaming service. Despite a DVR beta program that has been in trials for months, there is still no cloud-based DVR available. That means you can't record any news programming with DirecTV Now.
While a good selection of on-demand titles helps offset the lack of recording features, the DVR absence is still a big problem with this service.
Another issue is that you can only stream on 2 devices at once. This makes DirecTV Now a poor choice for larger households.
DirecTV Now is planning to fix both of these issues sometime this spring. They have announced that they will provide a 100-hour DVR to customers free of charge, and increase the streaming limit to 3 devices. However, there is still no concrete release date for these features.
DirecTV Now is supported on Amazon Fire devices. You can also watch it on your web browser, iOS and Android, and most streaming devices such as the Chromecast and Apple TV.

PlayStation Vue
Despite being saddled with an unfortunate name (no, you don't need a PlayStation console to subscribe), PlayStation Vue is a great internet TV service, especially for folks who have larger families.
Subscription plans and channels
Similar to DirecTV Now, there are a total of four different channel packages available on PlayStation Vue. This allows you to choose how much content you want.
- Access – 45 channels, $40/month
- Core – 60 channels, $45/month
- Elite – 84 channels, $55/month
- Ultra – All Elite channels plus HBO/Showtime, $75/month
The pared-down "Access" package will get you Fox News and Fox Business, CNN, CNBC, and HLN, as well as local news networks (if available in your region). If you want, you can upgrade to an "Elite" package for $55/month, to get access to BBC World News.
Features
PlayStation Vue has a good channel selection, though DirecTV Now beats it out for pure value. However, the true benefits of PlayStation Vue are clear when you look at the features you get from this service.
The first – and most important – feature is the 5-device simultaneous streaming policy. Depending on the device you use, you can stream on up to 5 different devices at once on your home network.
This is the best concurrent streaming policy out there, with the exception of Hulu With Live TV + The Unlimited Screens package – but that add-on costs an extra $15/month.
You also get a really good DVR with PlayStation Vue. Though you can only record content for 28 days, you get unlimited storage space. You can save as much content as you want.
You can watch PlayStation Vue on Amazon Fire TV, as well as the PlayStation 3 or 4 console. Of course, mobile compatibility includes iOS and Android, and you can also watch on your web browser, or on Chromecast, Apple TV, or Roku.

Fox News Go
Most networks and cable channels let you use your internet TV credentials to access live and archived content.
All of the above-listed internet TV providers will allow you to log into the Fox News website to watch live TV, or to log into the Fox News Go app on Amazon Fire TV.
The content you can view will depend on your subscription. For example, you won't get Fox Business if your internet TV package only includes Fox News.
One key benefit of using your internet TV login online is that it does not count towards your simultaneous streams.
For example, signing into Fox News Go with a Hulu With Live TV login will not count towards your two simultaneous streams. Two other people could watch Hulu With Live TV, and you could still use Fox News Go without service interruptions.

YouTube TV – Not Supported by Amazon Fire TV
If you're curious why YouTube TV is not present on our list, there's a reason – and it's a pretty silly one.
Amazon and Google are still involved in a bit of a corporate feud, and Google refuses to support the Amazon Fire TV. They went so far as to remove YouTube support from Amazon Fire TV devices.
Because of this, YouTube TV will likely not be available on Amazon Fire TVs for quite a while. This is a shame, because YouTube TV offers a great package of channels, including Fox News, for $35 a month ($40/month starting in March).
You can also stream on 3 devices at once, which is better than DirecTV Now, Hulu With Live TV, and fuboTV. The highlight is the DVR, though. You can store unlimited hours of shows for 9 months, with no other limits.
Hopefully, this corporate tiff will be resolved soon. Until then, there's a workaround you can use if you already subscribe to YouTube TV.
A workaround for YouTube TV subscribers
If you are a current YouTube TV subscriber and would like to watch Fox News on your Amazon Fire TV, the best workaround is to simply download and use the Fox News Go app on the Amazon App Store.
Your YouTube TV login will still work, even though Google doesn't support the Amazon Fire TV, so this is a decent workaround which is likely to work for quite a while.
It's certainly not ideal, but if you already have a YouTube TV subscription, it's definitely your best option for the time being.
